Welcome, I appreciate your visit to our website. It has been designed to help you learn more about the variety of services we offer and how you can get in contact with someone who can help you, or your friend or family member, in coping with the day to day life stressors we all have to face.

For over 50 years New Horizons has been providing services to the residents of Fairfield County.  From its humble beginnings with a few staff focusing on children's services, it has grown to include several locations and developed multiple programs aimed at the needs of the community including all age groups. Utilizing a personalized approach to treatment planning, New Horizons staff work with clients to design a program of services tailored to their own circumstances.  We offer individual and group psychotherapy, psychiatric consultation and medication management, substance abuse evaluation and treatment, family and community support services, as well as 24-7 mobile crisis assessment.

Further,  within each of these areas of service there are even more highly specialized programs , often in response to a community need and in partnership with our stakeholders.  For example, thanks to assistance from the ADAMH board, United Way of Fairfield County, Ryan Reeb Foundation, and the support of all the school systems we provide suicide screening, along with prevention and follow-up services, to all middle and high school students in Fairfield County.

Please browse our pages and discover all the services we offer. Please review our job openings if you would like to join our team of compassionate, innovative staff; or visit our links which explain how your charity and volunteer efforts can also support our mission. Our contact page provides information that can put you in touch with our key staff that can help with any questions you may have about scheduling, programming, billing, and directions to our offices.

Finally, on behalf of our Board of Directors, Management Team, and Clinicians and Administrative staff I want to thank-you for your interest in our agency and giving us the  opportunity to be of service. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or ideas for programming that could be of help as we work together to provide the best services we can for our community.
